Working with Projects

Projects are where the real work happens in Molley. Each project represents a product, service, or initiative you're building.

What is a Project?

A Project in Molley contains:

  • Product information — Name, description, target audience
  • Research — Notes, documents, and synthesis
  • Features — Ideas, Kanban boards, and requirements
  • Growth tools — Outreach, marketing, and CRM
  • Feedback — Forms and submissions

Creating a Project

Step 1: Start Creation

  1. Navigate to your company
  2. Click + New Project in the sidebar or project selector
  3. The project creation wizard opens

Key Features (Summary)

  • List the main capabilities
  • This helps AI understand your product scope

AI Context

When you fill in product details, Molley AI uses this information to:

  • Suggest relevant features
  • Write appropriate copy
  • Understand your constraints
  • Provide market-aware recommendations

Once created, your project has several sections:

Access project settings by clicking the gear icon or navigating to Settings:

Working with Multiple Projects

Switching Projects

  1. Click the Project selector in the sidebar
  2. Choose from your available projects
  3. The interface updates to show that project's content

Project-Specific Context

When you switch projects, Molley AI automatically updates its context. If you're working on "TaskFlow Pro" and ask for feature suggestions, the AI considers:

  • TaskFlow Pro's target audience
  • Existing features in TaskFlow Pro
  • The product's value proposition
  • Your company's overall strategy

1. Complete Your Product Profile

The more details you provide, the better AI assistance you'll receive. Take time to fill in:

  • Target audience details
  • Value proposition
  • Key differentiators

2. Use Consistent Naming

Choose clear, descriptive names for:

  • Projects
  • Features
  • Requirements

This helps team members and AI understand your work.

3. Keep Features Organized

Use the Kanban board to track feature status:

  • Backlog — Ideas to consider
  • In Consideration — Being evaluated
  • In Refinement — Being detailed
  • In Progress — Currently building
