Quick Start Guide

Get up and running with Molley in just a few minutes.

Step 1: Sign Up

  1. Visit molley.io and click Sign Up
  2. Create your account using email or social login
  3. Verify your email address

Step 2: Create Your Company

After signing in, you'll be prompted to create your first company:

  1. Enter your Company Name
  2. Add a brief Description of what your company does
  3. Optionally upload a Logo
  4. Click Create Company

TIP

You can create multiple companies later if you work with different organizations or clients.

Step 3: Create Your First Project

With your company set up, create a project:

  1. Click + New Project in the sidebar
  2. Enter your Project Name (e.g., "Mobile App", "SaaS Platform")
  3. Add a Description explaining what this product does
  4. Define your Target Audience
  5. Click Create Project

Step 4: Explore the Interface

Once your project is created, you'll see the main navigation:

  • Company selector — Switch between companies
  • Research — Notes, knowledge base, data synthesis
  • Product — Wiki, features, Kanban, bugs, feedback
  • Growth — Outreach, marketing, CRM

Top Header

  • Help — Access guided tours and documentation
  • Molley Chat — Open the AI assistant
  • User Menu — Profile settings, dark mode, browser extension

Step 5: Try Molley AI

Click Molley Chat in the header to open the AI assistant. Try asking:

  • "What should I focus on first for my product?"
  • "Help me write a product description"
  • "What features should I consider for my target audience?"

The AI already knows about your company and project — no setup required!

Step 6: Install the Browser Extension (Optional)

The browser extension lets you capture research from any webpage:

  1. Click User MenuBrowser Extension
  2. Download for your browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge)
  3. Pin the extension to your toolbar
  4. Click the Molley icon on any page to save content
